Annet Mahendru
Mahendru is a mother of Russian origin who was born in Afghanistan. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian and English and also French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru's parents are Russian and Indian. In 2011, she developed choreography that gained her the chance to be a guest on German TV as the Russian snowmaiden. She later became a Indian dancer. She graduated from high school within New York before earning a bachelor of Arts (English) at St. John's University. Following school, she began acting classes at the HB Studio, but she quit to pursue improvisation classes at the Groundlings School taking on several comedy-related projects afterward. Her parents were an Afghani Hindu-Indian mother and Russian father in Kabul in Afghanistan. She moved into East Meadow New York, along with her father, when she turned 13 and stars with Matthew Rhys and Keri Russel in FX's The Americans. Her most well-known role is the ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. She played a recurring character on The Following on Fox, The Following, and NBC's The Blacklist.
